Serving Northern Kentucky Seniors Since 1952

Headquartered in Erlanger, Baptist Life Communities (BLC) is the largest nonprofit faith-based senior living community in Northern Kentucky. With roots in the region since 1952, we have garnered a reputation for providing compassionate care and steadfast support for seniors and their loved ones.

BLC is more than a senior living organization. Our work is about people — the residents who trust us with their care, the families who depend on us, and the employees who dedicate themselves to serving others with kindness and respect. Our variety of services, programs, and living spaces focus on enhancing the quality of life for the 55+ community. Seniors and their families trust BLC for outpatient therapies, memory care, short-term and long-term care, assisted living, respite care, clinical services, post-surgical care, restorative nursing management, palliative care, hospice, and more. We also offer independent living options, where seniors can enjoy comfortable accommodations in an active, social setting.

Throughout the years, BLC has been “home” to residents across Northern Kentucky and the Greater Cincinnati metro area, including Florence, Covington, Fort Mitchell, Erlanger, and Alexandria.

Certified Care

The Seasons@Alexandria and Village Care Center earned the Skilled Nursing Facility Heart Failure Certification through the American Heart Association. This certification verifies that BLC meets rigorous science-based requirements for heart failure patients, including program management, patient and caregiver education and support, care coordination, clinical management, and quality improvement. BLC is part of only 1% of the skilled nursing facilities in the United States to hold this certificate and the first in the NKY region.

Whether you or your loved one seeks skilled nursing, independent senior living, assisted living, memory care, short-term rehab, respite care or another service, we have a place for you at BLC. Our two convenient community locations, The Village @Erlanger and The Seasons@Alexandria, are designed to make you feel at home.

"Our family extends its deepest gratitude to the extraordinary nurses, nursing assistants, therapists, physicians, and every member of the team at Village Care Center in Erlanger who walked beside our Mom and Grandma during the final four months of her life. Their exceptional skill was matched only by their compassion, dignity, and grace. They cared for her not merely as a resident, but as a remarkable woman whose life mattered. They comforted our entire family, offering kindness in difficult moments and became an extension of the love that surrounded her until her final breath. We will always be grateful for the respect, tenderness, and unwavering care they gave to the woman who meant so much to all of us."

I have had both my parents in The Season's at Alexandria...Mom since November 2023 and Dad for a shorter stay of February to May primarily in the River Birch unit. I cannot say enough good about the care offered to both my parent and my family. My dad passed just a week ago there...the love, care, spiritual support was beyond what I had hoped for. From the nurses (Emily was on duty) to the CNA's (Particularly Jenny and Tina) and Margi the Activities Director...there are absolutely no words. We were able to have my Mom present, as well, which took care and sacrafice from her staff in the Walnut unit. My mom is given so much TLC it's amazing. I will always praise the staff of The Season's and never forget my Dad's last days and hours there...the family of Season's is truly a blessing to my family.
