Spiritual Care at BLC

Entering a senior adult community can be stressful. Yet by caring for the whole person — body, mind, and spirit — we see seniors find purpose and joy.

The BLC Spiritual Care program is here to support residents, family members, and staff with both their spiritual and religious needs.

Our senior living community welcomes residents of all faiths. As part of the BLC clinical team, our chaplains use their many years of education and ministry experience to be engaging, uplifting, and compassionate when addressing loneliness, fear, and grief

We respect the dignity of those we serve, and our Spiritual Care team is here to support seniors and their loved ones at every step. Here’s what you can expect from spiritual care at BLC:

  • Routine visits to loved ones as well as visits upon request
  • Weekly church services filled with scripture, music, prayer, and sermons to encourage and uplift those who attend
  • Support during difficult times, health issues, or end of life
  • Opportunities to attend weekly Catholic Mass and receive Eucharist
  • Connecting residents with their pastors, priests, and rabbis from their home community
