Kristi Hilbert

Vice President/COO
MSN, BSN, RN, LNHA

“People first. I love connecting with people, developing leaders, solving
problems, and finding ways to make things better as a team. At the end of the day, every improvement we make comes back to one thing: making someone’s life better.” – Kristi Hilbert

Kristi came to BLC in January 2008, serving in several clinical roles including nurse aide, KMA, LPN, and RN. She served as Administrator at Village Care Center for three years until February 2022, when she transitioned to Vice President, Chief Operating Officer for BLC.

Kristi’s passion for healthcare began at the early age of 16, when she worked as a nurse aide. As she continued to follow that path determined to learn and understand every aspect of long-term care, she took on nearly every clinical position in LTC. In doing this, Kristi gained a broad and firsthand understanding of the people, processes, and challenges that shape senior care. She experienced time in acute care and served as an adjunct instructor at a local community college helping to shape future healthcare professionals. She also shared her knowledge and experience providing operational consulting, helping organizations identify opportunities, solve complex problems, and translate ideas into meaningful operational improvements. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Degree, with a concentration in Management and Leadership.

Kristi resides in Dayton, Kentucky, with her family and enjoys traveling, hot yoga, and – most importantly – spending time with her new grandson, Vinny.

Erin Koshover

“BLC is not just a place where people come to work or have care provided to them. It is a place where I have formed meaningful relationships, felt supported and cared for, and grown as a professional. I truly believe that experience extends to the team members and residents who come through our doors. We are motivated to provide the best care possible, because for so many of us, it is our calling.
