Make an Impact: Giving to BLC

As a faith-based nonprofit organization, BLC welcomes individuals or groups who would like to volunteer, sponsor an activity or event, or participate in the enhancement of our gardens.

We also have residents with financial needs. Something as simple as donating a hearing aid battery or personal care item such as a haircut may brighten a resident’s day and put a smile on their face. In these cases, we welcome your donation to BLC’s general fund. Our Seeds of Generosity program works with families to make a lasting contribution.

Annual Fundraising Events

  • The Village@Erlanger campus celebrates their annual Fall Festival with many donated raffle items that go towards the Activities Department to purchase crafts, games, snacks, etc. for BLC residents. They also host an annual car show.
  • The Seasons@Alexandria hosts raffles, bake sales, penny wars, walking taco meals, chili cook-offs, a yearly outdoor “Ride the Duck” event, and the annual car show and car washes to raise funds.

BLC appreciates donations for these fun-filled events to keep them running and supporting seniors.

Estate Planning

One way to help BLC carry our mission forward is to include BLC in estate planning. We will be happy to work with you and your financial planner so you can make a lasting contribution that can better the lives of others.

Giving Tree

Are you looking for a unique gift that will last a lifetime? Check out our Giving Tree, located in the receptionist area of The Seasons@Alexandria. Donations are recognized by a gold, silver, or copper leaf with your name or a loved one’s name engraved on it for a memory to last a lifetime.

    • Memorialize your loved one.
    • Honor someone with a unique birthday or holiday gift.
    • Donate and have your name on the Giving Tree.
    • Donate your security deposit towards the Giving Tree and have your name engraved on a leaf.

 

Garden Memorials

For a sizable donation, you can purchase a garden memorial to be placed in the courtyard at The Seasons@Alexandria.
