November ~ the start of the cool crisp air, vivid colors on trees, everything pumpkin spice, boots, hoodies, bonfires, crockpot chili, pumpkin patches, scarecrows, hot chocolate and homemade soups.
With November comes the time to prepare for winter; clean up the yard, rake/bag leaves, put away the grill, store/cover the patio furniture, trim the pampas grass down, check gutters, the electric fireplace, weather stripping around doors/windows, the furnace, along with all the rest of the home maintenance when preparing for winter weather.

2020 has been an incredibly challenging year for everyone and BLC continues to trust that God will see us through. November is a good reminder to take time and reflect on our blessings. We are truly thankful for our residents along with their families who have taken all the steps to stay healthy by following protocols. We are thankful for our staff who have seen us through this ever-going pandemic by working long hours in uncomfortable and hot protective attire and doing everything they can to keep our residents shielded from this invisible virus along with not taking it home with them either.
We may be “socially distanced” but we’re all in this together. At BLC, we’re family and would love to welcome you into our community!
