HeartChase: Amazing Race meets Minute-to Win-It!
HeartChase is an adventure game with a fun and frenzied pursuit of hidden rewards, and healthy lives. Best of all, it’s a chance to help your community and the AHA chase away heart disease for good. Teams of 2-5 players navigate a 1.5-mile radius course with their smartphones. Along the way, there will be fun challenges promoting healthy lifestyle choices. The games will test your knowledge and skills related to physical fitness, nutrition and hands-only CPR.

HeartChase supports the American Heart Association’s goal to reduce death from heart disease and stroke by 20% by the year 2020, and also to improve the cardiovascular health of all Americans by 20% by the year 2020. Together we can save lives by working to create healthy eating habits, maintaining a smoke-free environment, building a heart-healthy community, and partnering with businesses for a fit-friendly work environment. Join BLCs efforts to chase away heart disease!
Baptist Life Communities will have teams from Village Care Center, The Seasons @ Alexandria and even our own BLC management team! In addition, BLC will be sponsoring a competition checkpoint for the race which competitors will be required to complete before moving on to the next level. Please join us by signing up a team and being a part of the game! Also, if you prefer to support us in our efforts, we welcome your financial backing. Your generous donations will help the BLC teams by creating roadblocks for other participating teams and providing us with advantages to move through this course quickly.
